The city of Weston is s community in Broward County, Florida. It was established in 1996 and borders the Everglades. It’s the most western city in the county and has a current population of around 66,000. Many people jokingly call it “Westonzuela” because in recent years many Venezuelans have moved from their home country and settled in Weston. There is also a large Colombian population.

In the year 2010, Money Magazine gave the city the 19th spot in its earnings of “Biggest Earners.” The median family income in that year was just under $120,000. The city has earned numerous other awards for the quality of living, job opportunities, and also features one of the State of Florida’s best school districts.
