After I had my appointment with the https://www.floridareviews.com/beauty/gregg-wilentz-dermatologist/dermatologist Dr. Gregg Wilentz in Weston, I came out with a prescription for some cream. It was for dermatitis that had been flaring up on my face over the last while, and despite my own Googling and trying out different cortisones and other ointments, I couldn’t quite get a handle on it myself.
Having been forever since I had to fill a prescription, I wasn’t sure where to go but the receptionist at the dermatologist’s office directed me to the Pill Box Pharmacy. I had always noticed this place as it is right next door to the Weston Forget Me Not Flowershop, which I frequent from time to time, but I had never entered the store before.

As soon as I walked in I noticed this place was massive and had everything I could ever need. It was easy to find the pharmacist’s counter straight ahead as I walked in the door and was greeted with a smile while I handed them the prescription I was written. They even went out of their way to find a coupon to apply to my purchase and the visit only ended up costing me $10.00. Not a bad stop.
While I waited for my prescription to be filled I walked around the store. Let me say that this place has everything. You can certainly replace your CVS or Walgreen’s or wherever you go with the Pill Box, as there is everything under one roof here.
Beyond all the vitamins and over the counter medications that you would find at other pharmacy or convenience stores, they also have an endless supply of medical equipment from wheelchairs to dust masks.
They are not only limited to products of the medical type, however. Do you need to get a last minute card for a special occasion? Any little toys for the kids or a trinket for a loved one who enjoys those sorts of things? Like I said above, they have pretty much everything in here, it’s more of a supermarket than it is a regular pharmacy. 
I received my prescription in about 10 minutes and was very happy with the polite, helpful service provided by the employees there. While I wandered around the store, killing time until my prescription was ready, I was asked on more than one occasion if I needed any help finding anything. It feels more like a local family owned store than anything else, and I like that feeling.
Overall, I’m not sure why I hadn’t stopped into the Pill Box before but I’m definitely glad my dermatology appointment finally brought me there. I just may become a loyal visitor there instead of my usual CVS runs, simply because of the breadth of products available and the fast and friendly service that makes you feel taken care of.
