My Organics Corner review. Located in Weston, Florida, this is the city’s premier place to eat true organic food. Everything from vegan food, soups, sandwiches, to protein smoothies, to meals like acai bowls, gluten free food, and more, you can’t go wrong at this boutique store located on the north side of Weston Road near Sunrise.
My Organic Corner Review
The first thing you’ll notice about this place is that everyone is very trendy. The small, compact store sits in the “shoppes on the green” plaza which also houses Carl’s Barber Shop and other stores. Being the north side of Weston, it seems that less commerce happens this way, so to me it always feels out of the way, but it doesn’t stop me from visiting almost every week.
What I like about this place:
The food is amazing. If you are into organic or gluten free food, you will love My Organic Corner. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. I’ve even brought home the cacao treats and other goodies that make dessert a little healthier than the alternatives. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. You’ll see people from all walks of life but I mainly see people who look like they just returned from the gym, cross fit, or some other activity.
What I dislike about this place:
Being organic, it comes with a price point. Expect to pay Whole Foods prices, if not more, for your meal. Even the coffee is priced high, but you do get what you pay for.
The time does take a toll on me sometimes. When I’m alone, it still takes 5-10 minutes to get breakfast which is much higher than breakfast places like Mitch’s West Side Bagels and when they aren’t jammed, Offerdahl’s. If there are people there, expect to wait much longer. I admit, I think twice about going there if I drive by and see more than 2 people in line. My ADD probably has something to do with that, but that’s on me. I’m probably overreacting but I like to get in and out unless I’m planning on sitting down for drinks and dinner somewhere like Mallardi’s.
