Jesse’s Steak and Seafood

When in Brandon, Florida, you don’t have many options for great food unless you want to stick to chain restaurants.  If you are lucky enough to get a reservation or be able to walk right in, I’m going to recommend Jesse’s Steak and Seafood in Brandon for a casual dining experience that wont’ let you down.  I’ll go over the experience I just had there and highlight some of things that I believe drive the locals to this spot, including their famous early bird menu.

What is the Dress Code of Jesse’s Steak and Seafood in Brandon?

Casual.  Don’t feel like you have to dress up as you’ll see folks from all walks of life here. I like to dress up myself but I didn’t feel like a lot of the other patrons, mostly locals I’d presume, felt the same way.

For a steak and seafood place, they sure do have a variety of other food you can try at Jesse’s.

Also, you’ll find a lot of options for fish and crab, which the name sort of suggests!

For those in the mood for a sandwich, there are many of them to choose from.  All served with french fries and a pickle.

You really can’t go wrong with anything at this establishment!  Everything is cooked to order and absolutely decadent.  This is a hidden gem, (or maybe not so hidden, as it’s on the main drag of Highway 60 in Brandon) and I was glad I was able to get in on a busy Saturday night.

Now, let’s get into what makes Jesse’s famous:  STEAKS!

This establishment has been around since 1980, and has had a sterling reputation for it’s amazing steaks (charbroiled), prime rib, and amazing burgers.  You can expect quality, efficiency, and always will get USDA choice beef.  You won’t find any fresher, or leaner meat in Brandon, FL.

Fresh is the name of the game at Jesse’s, and you can get seafood freshly caught, vegetables from local farmers, as well as a loaf of bread for the table.  Every soup, sauce, and even their chili are recipes they take pride in owning.

If you are ever hungry in Brandon, you need to check this place out.  Oh yeah, and they have a full bar too!
