Bayside Mall was the first mall experience I ever encountered in South Florida, and I was in love at first sight.  The outdoor, open air mall that backs up on to the Biscayne Bay is like nothing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.  Fast forwarding 16 years, I’m taking places like this for granted!

The mall is adjacent to the American Airlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat and a venue for numerous concerts and events.  Just a stones throw from the MacArthur Causeway that connects the main land to Miami Beach, the mall attracts a lot of tourism.  You can read more about the mall on this page.

Havana Nines is a store that sells everything from name brands such as Lacoste to relatively unknown brands that are usually Miami type clothing.  Linens and comfort are the trend here, so you’ll find a lot of tropical type clothing that you can feel comfortable and look good in.

I’m a big fan of Lacoste, so I have no problem shopping here.  There is never a lack of selection, and the staff was very friendly, as are most of the workers in Bayside Mall.  If you are looking to “fit in” to Miami and get some gear that would make you look like a Cuban (think Guayabera’s, hats, and linen pants) gangster, then check out Havana Nines in Bayside Mall.
