My girlfriend lives in Wilton Manors and one time at dinner she brought up the Wilton Creamery and we had made it a point to go there sometime for some ice cream. It had slipped our mind since then, but we finally made a visit this past weekend. We were having brunch at Rosie’s in Wilton Manors and our friend that joined us asked if there was any place to get ice cream afterwards, and it was a short walk to this gem.
I don’t know why we hadn’t gone here before, but we will certainly be going again. First off it’s a great location in the main drag of Wilton Manors, and the establishment itself is very nice on the inside. Very neat and clean, and places to sit inside and out, including a cool little upstairs area which we sat at and took the picture you see below.
We stepped up to the counter and asked the clerk what he recommended. They had a couple dozen different ice creams, some traditional and some premium flavors. All looked really good and we sampled a few. We were told they have over 60 different toppings and 8 different flavors of whipped cream to choose from. We were in heaven.
I ended up going with a strawberry shake, completely with strawberry syrup and a white chocolate whipped cream to top it off. It tasted just as good as it looks!
My girlfriend and our friend both opted for bowls of ice cream, mixing up some chocolate and coconut flavors, I can’t remember what all they got but I had a bite and they were delicious. They also have a variety of cones like a traditional cone, waffle cone, cookie cone and even a pretzel cone. Definitely going to have to try one of those next time around.
For the three of us it was about $15.00 total and we were given a little leaflet with a QR code to scan and download an app and join their loyalty program. You better believe I signed up as we will certainly be going back for some ice cream next time the mood strikes.
I feel like I have the best of both worlds, living so close to the Chill-N Weston location, and being so close to Wilton Creamery when I’m over in Wilton Manors.
