Center for Complete Dentistry of Pembroke Pines

I hate going to the dentist. It’s probably one of the least favorite of any health related check ups that I do.  Thankfully, after a lot of trial and error, I came across the Center for Complete Dentistry of Pembroke Pines, and it changed the way I look at my dental hygiene.

I’ll admit, I’d done it all when it came to trying to keep my teeth clean, keep up with my busy schedule, keep costs down, and work with someone reputable. I can’t tell you how many times I used a Groupon only to be upsold or told I have some strange disease in my mouth, only to have it be a load of crap.  It seems like that’s the norm down here in Florida, so when I got a referral from a good friend of mine to check out this dental office in Pembroke Pines, I didn’t think twice.

Having lived in Costa Rica for a while I had the luxury of doing geo-arbitrage dental care.  That is, getting first world service at third world prices.  They weren’t afraid to go heavy on the numbing materials, and I wasn’t shy about taking it. The price was right, and I was keeping up with my regular check-ups.

However, as I moved back to Florida in 2010, I had to find a new home for my dental needs.  It wasn’t easy. I’d done visits to dentists in Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Weston, Fort Lauderdale, and beyond. I struggled to find care that was not only cost effective, but also most important to me, in line with what I needed.  I needed honesty.

Honesty is what you’ll find at this hidden gem in Pembroke Pines.  When I admitted it had been about 22 months without a check up, they replied with a “We can tell.”

Sure, I knew I had a lot of deep cleaning ahead of me, but to my liking, I didn’t have any cavities.  #win.

I found the staff very polite and friendly.  Everyone from the head dentist, to the assistants, to the front office was very nice and kind.  A deep cleaning for my upper and lower teeth was reasonable, and something entirely avoidable if I would have found them earlier.  Better late then never, I guess.

I can say whole-heartedly that this is the best place to get dental care done in West Broward.  If you live in the area, definitely check them out.  I’ve included their contact information below.
