I love having a place like this in my city. Whenever I need to pick up some flowers, I know just where to go! Everything that I have ever gotten from there has been absolutely beautiful and the recipients have absolutely loved every single bouquet they’ve gotten. I adore this place and they have gotten to know me quite well over the last while.

Forget Me Not Flower Shop Weston Review

This shop is on the east side of Weston Road about halfway between Royal Palm and Indian Trace, near the Weston Post Office if you’re familiar. My first visit there was when my ex was having a particularly rough day at work, so I wanted to do something nice for her and get her some flowers “just because”. I’m a big fan of “just because” flowers. None of that Valentine’s Day or birthday or anniversary stuff, that’s too predictable. And also if you randomly get some flowers some other time, she’s probably wondering what you need to apologize for!

So when I could tell she needed a smile I found this little family-owned place in Weston called Forget Me Not Flower Shop (love the name!) and it was everything I could want in a florist. I had previously asked my ex what her favorite flowers were (daisies and sunflowers) so I knew what I wanted. Just my luck, they have a special bouquet called the Upsy Daisy and it was perfect! You can see it in the photo below. She loved it!

As you can see, the bouquet was lovely. And they lasted a couple weeks, too! She loved waking up to them in her room for the next while (which was mentioned to me a few times during that time).

Since her other favorite flowers were sunflowers, once the daisies died I went to visit the store again to get her some fresh flowers. I let them know how much I wanted to spend and that I wanted an arrangement of sunflowers and daisies. I wish I had a photo of that bouquet but I can’t seem to find it right now. Just like the first bouquet, these were great as well.

I like that this place is family-owned. The store is beautiful and they have amazing flowers and decorations and it really has a neighborhood feel to it, very welcoming. The employees are so willing to help you find just what you’re looking for and always greet you with a smile. Whenever I need flowers now I know just where to go.

My ex mentioned that I can never go wrong with roses as well, so I made another visit to Forget Me Not. Rather than call ahead and let them know what I wanted, I browsed their pre-made bouquets in their cooler and there was a beautiful arrangement of roses and other assorted flowers, pictured below.

While daisies and sunflowers were her favorite, this was the favorite bouquet she’d received from me! I loved it as well. As I was pulling it out of the cooler I had a funny exchange with the owner of the store…

Owner: Oh that is just beautiful, isn’t it?
Me: They always are here! This is the 3rd time you’ve seen me this month, my girlfriend loves it!
Owner: We do weddings, too!

I told her to not put the cart before the horse, but should that day come I know who we’d have do our flowers!

One more thing I wanted to point out — and I don’t really have any other florists to compare this to so I don’t know if this is standard — is that when you pick up your bouquet they have the vase set in a cardboard box so you can set it on the car seat and strap it in with the seat belt and not have to worry about it tipping over. Works great!

If you’re local to the Weston, Florida area this is the best place to go for your floral needs. I’ve yet to be disappointed and I know I’ll be stopping by there again real soon!
