Doral had initially expressed concerns about the developer’s plans regarding building heights, setbacks, and density. The city also faced opposition from residents, including those from the Costa Del Sol golf community immediately south of the project.

The settlement agreement allows the developer to proceed with their plans while the city’s moratorium on new project proposals falling under the Live Local Act continues until the end of March.
