As you may have read in my review of the Weston Duffy’s, I’m a regular at the bars/restaurants during the weekday lunch hours. Since I work from home, I make sure to always go out for lunch. It’s mostly as a reason to get out of the house so I don’t go stir crazy. Along with Duffy’s, Anthony’s in Weston has become one of my go-to places.
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza Weston Review
They have an extended lunch hour with some great specials, which is music to my ears when I can eat a nice meal at not much more than I would pay by picking up some fast food. My all-time favorite there is always the meatballs and ricotta pizza. It is so good that I don’t mind eating it all the time. The personal lunch size portion that is just right-sized. My other staple is the meatball parmesan sandwich on an amazing homemade focaccia bread (both pictured below).
Aside from the food, I’m a big fan of the bar there. It’s a small bar staff so with all my visits there I’ve gotten to know the bartenders pretty well and enjoy having a friendly face to talk to, and they’re more than happy to chat when times are slow there in the afternoon. Typically they know my lunch order as I stick to my main staples, but I keep them in limbo with whatever mood strikes me for a beer that day.
There is a great beer selection with tons of bottles and solid choices on tap, including my local favorites from Funky Buddha Brewery in Fort Lauderdale, as well as a decent selection of wine (pictured below). You’ll always see ESPN on the screen behind the bar which I like. Mondays and Tuesdays I believe is half off beers during their lunch hours (or is it Tuesdays and Wednesdays? I can’t remember. I should know this by now).
Anthony’s has locations all across Florida (as well as a handful of other states) but this particular one is in the Weston Commons shopping center off of 75 and Griffin, roughly. Despite a ton of parking spaces in this center, there are so many shops that it can be a bit of a pain during the busiest lunch and dinner hours, but you’ll be able to find a spot eventually.
There is both indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy some fresh air. TV’s all around if that’s your thing. Like I said, I’m normally a lunchtime visitor. I’ve made a couple evening trips and the popularity is evident, with a line out the door sometimes. A date and I went a couple weeks ago on a Friday night and put our name in for a table, but lucked out when another couple got up from their seats at the bar and we took their place.
Lunch, dinner, or just stopping in for a drink, this is a great spot! I can’t say enough good things about having this Anthony’s location so close to home. Can’t wait for my next visit (which surely won’t be too long from now).

My only complaint is that there isn’t a delivery option. It’d be nice if they delivered to my house or Smoke on the Water. That would be a game changer!
